So, I’ve been reading some great books and listening to terrific teaching podcasts…
I think it’s super important to be a lifelong learner, and I’m always looking for ways to continue educating myself. It sharpens my saw, so to speak.
I’ve been learning new stuff about sales and Facebook ads and some other business-related topics.
And it got me thinking about how we must always be investing in self-improvement and our own mind growth.
The most important piece of real estate—when you get right down to it—is the 4 inches between your ears!
But here’s something to remember: don’t be the know-it-all…
Be the guy/gal who’s pushing yourself and growing and learning new things.
Exercise your brain, folks! I’ve realized, the older I get, the more I realize how much I DON’T know. There’s so much to learn and so much we don’t know.
Pick up a book! Tune in to an informative podcast. Listen to an audio book in the car. Do something to educate yourself. Always.
And here’s another important aspect of self-improvement…
It also includes the company you keep. If you hang around negative people who pull you down instead of lift you up, success may elude you.
That’s a big reason why I really enjoy spending time in Mastermind groups where my thinking is challenged by open-minded positive people.
That’s also why—even to this day with all my many years of investing experience and success—that I still have a mentor. Someone who’s inspiring and guides me. Heck, someone I want to be like.
It’s time to “level up” by continuing to educate yourself and spending time with quality people.
I’m telling you, it will have a huge positive impact on your life and business.
